ABOUT LAGUNA NIGUEL
Laguna Niguel is primarily a hillside town with approximately one-third of its land designated as open space. Located to the west of the 5 freeways in South Orange County, it borders Laguna Beach, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano, Mission Viejo, Laguna Hills, and Aliso Viejo. The city's Crown Valley Community Park serves as the center for the City's recreational programs and activities. With its community pool, outdoor amphitheater, and 18-acre Niguel Botanical Preserve, it attracts over 240,000 people annually for its many events and programs.

There are many museums and cultural attractions, such as art galleries scattered around the city. Some of the popular shopping areas include Laguna Niguel Promenade, Aliso Village Shopping Centre, and The Grove at Laguna Niguel. Many festivals and events take place in the area throughout the year, including the Winter Fantasy and Crafts Festival, Laguna Art-A-Fair, and the Sawdust Art Festival.

When it comes to outdoor activities for the whole family, the possibilities are endless at Laguna Niguel Regional Park. This popular recreation area has many amenities, including a playground, horseshoe pits, volleyball and tennis courts, picnic areas with barbecue facilities, and hiking trails.

One of the best ways to see the area’s beautiful coastline is by Kayak, and La Vida Laguna tour company offers a variety of kayaking tours. During the Laguna Ocean Kayak Tour, you’ll be guided along the coastline, where you’ll see stunning beaches, high cliffs, and marine species such as sea lions, whales, dolphins, and a variety of seabirds. Laguna Niguel is a suburban city in Orange County, California in the United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 62,979. Laguna Niguel is located in the San Joaquin Hills in the southeastern corner of Orange County, close to the Pacific Ocean, and borders the cities of Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo and San Juan Capistrano.
